Seventh Grade Brain Field Trip

Have you ever wanted to touch a real human brain? Well the seventh grade of Westside School did. On Tuesday the seventh grade went to the University Of Washington to look and learn about the human brain and how it works. After a lecture at the University, the seventh grade went into a room with many stations to learn about the brain and the nervous system. In the room there were stations where the kids could hold and touch a human brain! At the stations, the seventh graders got to play with sensors that detect movement and can catalog it and allow machine to move on that way. Overall the seventh grade had a very good field trip and they all learned a lot.
