Earth day was first celebrated on April 22 in 1970. It is now celebrated in more than 192 countries. People around the world do many small tasks to help the environment on Earth Day; many pick up trash, reuse items, help make others more aware, use Eco friendly transportation, and participate in other activies. Google is celebrating Earth Day by creating many cute logos that are on display on the homepage. There are logos with monkeys, pufferfish, hummingbirds, and many other wild animals and plants. Help make our earth a better planet by participating in Earth Day. Treat every day like it's Earth Day!
